I had the roof on my C3 pluriel fixed by a pluriel expert. The issue was the well-known cable/gear-issue.
The roof was working for a few months but after disconnecting the main battery to install a stereo and heating for the side mirrors the roof stopped working.
When turning the knop to control the roof I can hear the relay (single click) signalling the roof the operate but nothing happens.
Using a voltmeter I believe the roof is not getting any power. When turning the knop I would expect 12V to start the small motor and polarize to reverse.
I disconnected the ECU and added external 12V to the motor and yes; motor and cable/gear is still working. Back and forth.
My guess is that I somehow blown a fuse as there is no power on the two cables that provide 12V to the ECU. Even when turning the knop there is no power.
Looking at the diagram and reading posts on this forum I.e. viewtopic.php?t=73076
I hear of/see a fuse referred to as F40.
If fuse F40 is blown (as described in the post) I would not get any power to the roof. Which would/could be the source of the issue.
But where is fuse F40?? I can´t find it anywhere. I have looked (almost?) everywhere and the internal fuse box on my left side underneath the steering wheel has no F40?
I have looked in the outside fuse box under the hood. No F40?
I removed the side panel on the far left which has no hidden fuse box underneath?
I do see and connection of wires going to the top of the mounted plastic case the holds the internal fuse box but the case does not seem to be movable as this seems to be part of a larger plastic casing underneath the dashboard.
This also seems like a odd place to hide a fuse box. I am able to pull the white plug which holds the internal fuse box to get the box to “slide” down.
Can anybody point me in the direction of the missing fuse box or any one might have another idea?
Thanks in advance
Best
