Citroën C5 X7 Airbag Seatbelt Pretensioners

I wonder if anyone could help me with the following problem.

A few weeks ago my 2014 Citroen C5 estate needed a replacement windscreen due to accidental damage. Unfortunately the windscreen technicians managed to break a ribbon connector located within the rear view mirror housing.

They didn't tell me about the damage at the time but instead attempted a repair which has essentially butchered the original connector. The damage has caused a warning message to appear on the dashboard with the text 'Airbag(s) or pretensioner seatbelt (s) faulty.'

When I spoke to the windscreen company about the new warning message, they accepted that they've caused the damage and want to put it right but say the part is no longer available from Citroen.

I've taken my car to my local independent Citroen specialist, Dave Ashworths, in Blackpool to make sure that the issue wasn't something simple like an unplugged connection. Code 7362 kept appearing on their scan tool even after being cleared a couple of times.

I then took my car to an auto electrician recommended by Dave Ashworths. He confirmed the ribbon connector had been damaged and took a photo of the repair attempt. The auto electrician has tried to locate the part via family run Citroen dealer J & A Rigbye's in Chorley. Rigbye's have confirmed that the part is no longer available from Citroen.

I've tried Chevronics, 1st Choice Spares, EU Spares and Citroen Direct Parts. The first three have confirmed they don't have the parts and I'm still waiting to hear back from Citroen Direct Parts. My enquiries so far have thrown up two different part numbers for this ribbon connector namely 6583Q9 and 98 030 058 80. However I'm not sure that either number is correct.

Ideally l would like to source a brand new genuine part. If that's not possible a second hand part either working or not working (so the auto electrician could make up a copy of the genuine part).

Does anyone know where I might source this ribbon connector?
If the part number is incorrect does anyone know the correct part number?
