We have a Citroen C5 Aircross and a C4 coupe, 2 and 3 years old, both auto boxes and 1.5 130 hp diesels. The auto boxes in these often run the engines at about 1400 rpm at cruising speeds. Should I run them at higher rpm now and again to avoid the engines claggling up (like I used to with an old diesel Renault), or do we not have to bother with that now?
Thanks, Max

It never hurts to give any engine an occasional 'italian tuneup' on the motorway!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
