Y vacuum hose connection help please

Unread post by John2026 »

Hello, I bought a 2007 C4 Grand Picasso 2.0 HDI and it started to stop working and pull hard. I looked down in front of the engine near the oil filter and there was a Y connection and it was cracked. I changed it to a T and it still pull hard, but I saw that a hose was left out... should that hose be left out like that or should I connect it somewhere? Please, what do I do with that hose? I bought a Y to change the T but where can i put that free hose ? Help me with info picturesx everything....

Please post a picture of your Y/T join and the free hose. Guidelines for doing it are at: :)

Is it not possible to follow the pipes to see where they go ? I looked on line at pictures of engines and could not see any blue pipes that might have helped.
