Hello i have an issue with 2020 berlingo locking
when i press unlock on keyfob the rear side door unlocks but the front 2 and rear door dont unlock, i can manually open each door using the key in the hole, if i press lock they all lock fine
when sitting in the van if i press the dash lock/unlock again the doors will lock, but wont unlock unless i either pull internal handle or put key into door
on the bsi it says b1722 error and i guess the unlock wire is shorted to ground somewhere
does anyone have a wiring diagram for VIN VR7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] 2020 CITROEN BERLINGO central locking system please
thanks in advance
Gaz

I can't help with a diagram I'm afraid as your car is too new for my 2012 Servicebox backup. Good luck
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Re: CENTRAL LOCKING PROBLEM 2020 Citroen Berlingo.
Gaz i am assuming you have 2 front doors, 1 side door and a rear tailgate.
I dont have access to the fault code or a wiring diagram and you dont say how long this has been going on or if just a sudden thing.
Totally random but have you or any one else changed the unlock settings in the main menu to just one door on a single press and then all on the second press?
The locking/unlocking systems are different but work together.
My best guess is you have a broken wire in the drivers door loom where it goes from the door to the main body.
I would open it up and check all the wires for a break in one of them.

deffo not changed settings, there are 6 faults in bsi with to do for door locking faults, i just need a diagram so i can test from bsi to motor to make sure wires are not shorted or broken, the wiring is different to a b9 which i have diagrams for just need to know what pins to probe on the bsi and then to the motor controls, ive also performed a bsi reset which done nothingadmiral51 wrote: 21 Jun 2026, 16:35 Gaz i am assuming you have 2 front doors, 1 side door and a rear tailgate.

Re: CENTRAL LOCKING PROBLEM 2020 Citroen Berlingo.
Gaz just read again your original post.
All doors lock on the remote and also when using the in cab button.
All doors lock/unlock with the key in the barrel.
So all locks are operational mechanically.
I would double check the unlock settings on the menu just to double check in case by accident you have changed something which i dont think you have but atleast you can cross that off the list.
You say that if you press the lock/unlock button in the cab then it wont unlock from the outside. If you unlock the drivers door from the outside with the key will the passenger door and tailgate also unlock ?
Does the side door actually lock from the outside/inside under the same situation.
Sometimes the problem may not be with what is not working but with something that appears to be working.

Re: CENTRAL LOCKING PROBLEM 2020 Citroen Berlingo.
there is no electrical way to unlock via key or button, only turning the key in the door will unlock that door only no others, the van will see that it is unlocked and open the mirrors but all doors except the side door remain locked, only the side door opens via key, or button, but they will all lock via key and dash button

Re: CENTRAL LOCKING PROBLEM 2020 Citroen Berlingo.
Whilst I do not know what is wrong, be careful not to dead lock the car as if done the dash unlock button or the inside handles will not unlock the doors. A possible damaged wiring location could be where the driver's door wiring goes in to the door pillar. To dead lock might be 2 presses on the remote lock button or 2 uses of a door lock with the key but it should be in the hand book.
If you list all the fault codes and their meanings on here it might help people to provide some thoughts.
