Diagbox/lexia issue - stuck on "select application"

Hi everyone,

We're having issues getting diagbox/lexia working and are stuck after multiple reinstalls/updates.

Setup: Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit
Diagbox initially installed as v7.01, then updated to v7.58 with given update files.
We also tested with 9.85, we were able to read an newer car, but unable to read the xantia.
We are using a PSA XS Evolution clone (921815B)

Problem: Diagbox itself launches normallu and we can select the vehicle. When prompted with the "select application" screen, we choose "Lexia" and nothing happends. The laptop running Diagbox has no internet, and never saw an antivirus popup or anything.

I tried finding some type of lexia.exe to start lexia myself, but was unable. Lexia seems to be installed tho, since we have 1000's of files in folders from LEXIA.

I think your issue is that Lexia really can not run under 64 bit. This software is old and requires 32 bit. I believe Lexia itself might even be 16 bit. Diagbox is much newer and will run and work.

Yes. This is the important bit. Embedded into Diagbox, Lexia and PP2000 are 16 bit and need a 32 bit environment to run. Pure Diagbox should run however and if it doesn't there's something else wrong. Possibly as well.

Yeah we were thinking the same thing. We tried to download the vm from psa-diag.fr, but dont get an option to enter the licence key, resulting in getting stuck on the auto activation screen. We do have an 32bit windows iso, so we can try to install fresh windows 7 32bit onto another laptop.

I setup a vm with this windows 7 iso, and installed diagbox onto it. After opening diabox and going through the activation, we get "faillure of activation (error 0)"

We installed everything on a win7 32bit pc, but now it doesnt want to recognize the vci. We might be missing some drivers, but I'm not sure where I can install those.
