Cruise control installed on Citroen Picasso Xara Desire 09 plate

Hi, I undestand my vehicle may be albe to have cruse control installed. Its a manual petrol and has the blank plate on the steering column so I'm wondering if my model can then be reconfigured once a stalk has been fitted. Any help and advice would be very welcome. many thanks in advance.

Visit a dealer and ask them for the build sheet for your car. From that you should see if the car is equipped for Cruise control but not fitted.

Thats a very late registered model considering production of the Xsara Picasso stopped production in 2007. The latest ive seen was an '11' plate.

The build sheet will only say if it has CC or not, it cant tell you if it can be fitted.

If it can be fitted it depends on a few factors
Manual or Auto?
Petrol or Diesel? if its petrol does it have a motorised throttle or cable operated?
Which injection system is fitted?

Do you have access to Lexia or Diagbox? Best thing you can do is just try it.
You want to find the settings in the injection menu & you are looking for RVV, this needs to be changed to 'present'
Fit the stalk & try it.

You can check the car build date from the RPO number at the top of the tyre pressure sticker. Parts such as the windows have a production year marked on them as well. Put the number in a RPO calculator or post it on here for a check.

Hi i Have a vin code : VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] don’t know if that helps as for a RPO code I can only see this where the tyre pressure is located:
11902 FV
EZRC
640 (EN)
Not sure which is applicable - any help/advice greatly appreciated

11902 is the RP number (also known as the ORGA number). That equates to 10th June 2009 according to http://www.citroen-ds-id.com/gen/Gen_Organr.html

You can look up the members who offer diagnostics here. There is a list with indications of whether the member is currently active. Also a map showing their general location.
Read the advisory first then contact them using the PM system and agree on how to proceed.

Be aware that it may be several days before anyone responds, depending on their personal circumstances.
