users_com.dat file 607

Does anyone happen to have a users_com.dat file from an RT4 or RT5 that was originally fitted to a 607? Mine's from a Picasso, so some things aren't quite working as they should.

Come to think of it, perhaps it might be a decent idea to put up a database of those files? I've got them from a C4 Picasso and a 407 with RT5, if anyone needs them. That way, swapping head units between different cars might become significantly easier.

That sounds a sensible idea. Perhaps you could add what you have here and then others can contribute what they have?

Zip files are not permitted because it would be too easy for harmful info to get onto the forum. If you can save it as a PDF that is allowed. Alternatively maybe just post a list of what you have available and ask anyone who wants one to contact you via Private Messaging and then arrange a transfer between you using whatever private method suits.

I can't post them as a pdf, because they're not plain text files .

PDFs can incorporate images - in fact there can be nothing but images inside. My scanning program gives me the option to save the scan in quite a few different formats - JPG, TIF, and PDF amongst many.
