Petrol or diesel ? The engine photos on your other topic appear to be a diesel, similar to our 2016 1.6 hdi Cactus and that has a dry timing belt.

Only one way to find out ... the top cover on the belt can be removed this will give the answer but I do think it is dry as paul confirmed

7mm screw bolts only removed 3 which gave enough room to pull out the cover and see the belt , dry system . Belt looked ok as well but new owner and not knowing how old this one is a new kit will be fitted soon. See photos for more detail

I couldn't get the camera down lower enough but did see more of the belt by eye and it looks pretty ok condition, but as I said I will renew just for my own service history

Take not everyone of the sellers name. Here's why so about 4 days passes and another hospital appointment , which gave me the results that made me shed a tear of relief, my prostate psa test results were a huge relief no cancer. But that's another story, so parking up on the drive I see a small parcel on my door step , I spent 3 hrs checking my online purchases and this item didn't make any sense. Until 7.30 that evening when the evri post delivery notification dropped into my email, at first the tracking didn't work then but by 8pm the tracking was fully working and what should of been the heavy duty jack was this cheap Chinese dress in a scrappy rubbish plastic bag.

So I messaged the ebay seller they were very quick to reply, alarm bells rung then there reply were as follows , I dont know what to do , contact ebay, its evri delivery driver he stole it, I can't help you.....

I did have a word with the evri delivery man a few days before , I will be honest I grabbed hold of him as I thought he switched the thing and stole my jack, I was fuming I stopped half inch from his nose with a fully loaded fist ready to land it square, he reassured me all he picked up from his depot was a dress in a plastic bag ...... so I got ebay onside , because the seller opened a case after I reported a missing item that slowed things down , they were hoping I would sit back do nothing then they could of closed the case , but I had a live chat with an agent and he saw right through the sellers scam , they paid for the 10kg post label used it as its all scanned and computers just read qr codes not knowing what the parcel is and the seller knew this, I did ask the seller for proof they did send me the jack add they sent me one a box taped up with no post label showing i asked why there wasn't a label on they said they put the label on in the parcel shop and didnt take a photo ?? I reversed image searched and checked this image they sent and it was from an American ebay store
So I shut the chat down to this seller then with the last ebay live chat they forced the seller to do a royal mail 48 tracked post label for me and accept the return under item not as described, I took photos of my packing this dress into a small box , the post label ,even photographs of everything I did using royal mail parcel locker, I did voice concern to the ebay agent about the seller possibly denying receiving the parcel when it arrives to them but they said do not worry as soon as royal mail scan this parcels label I will get all my money back after 2 days , the seller is under investigation and the fraud part of ebay are investigation them aswell. Ive been using ebay for 17 yrs and this is the first time this has ever happend, probley not the last either.

I know it a daft question, but if you look at the seller's "sold items" lost - they've not recently sold a dress have they?

I bought something and was sent a spare tyre instead - the seller had got mixed up with the addresses and sent me the wheel that someone else had bought (and presumably what I bought went elsewhere too)

The seller in this case was very apologetic and sent an address label to return it (plus a full refund to me)

Aww Husky :( I'm so sorry to see this. Looks like you've been the victim of a kind of 'brushing' scam
