Hi, looking for some advice.
I really don’t know much about cars but I have Citroen C3 hdi 2007 and I’m currently getting a alert saying faulty sidelight pop up every couple minutes, as far as I can tell the light is not faulty then when my auto lights come on I get an alert saying my RH Brake light is also faulty, but only when my lights are on.
Is this is a grounding issue? Is there a way I can fix this? I have my MOT next week and I imagine this will cause it to fail?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Welcome.
I take it you have replaced to possible defective bulb.
Just because it says sidelight it could be tail light, especially as you are having brake light bulb issues.
With the age of your car, it could be bad earth, but first of all I would look at the bulb holder, make sure the bulb is sitting securely and that there is no corrosion visible. Then do a full reset.
If it didn't work please come back.

The earth pin burning out on the rear lights of older C3's is very common
