I am in the need of upgrading the alternator on my Peugeot 205 (TU3MC 1.4L) in order to have enough current to support two 100W rally lights as well as fans from a 205 diesel. Now I was looking into other cars with TU blocks that mightve come with a larger alternator but so far have not found anything that could easily be put on my engine. The current alternator runs on a very thin toothed V belt which I dont think could transfer enough torque for any alternator more than 70A anyway so I was looking into maybe then switching to a 5PK pulley from a different peugeot as well.
Does anyone have any input on what the smartest way to do this would be?
The previous plan was to take everything from a peugeot 306 TU5 donor car but I realized that the alternator sits in the back of the engine in that car and there is also a power steering pump, so I am unsure whether I can use that setup.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
