Connectors & Harness in Trunk of a C3 2005, help!

Unread post by pecemk »

Hello all,
I am searching for factory parking sensors fix, I was looking for a module, could not find it, but I found this in left side of trunk behind small port in the plastic trim, is this something for the parking sensors or something else?

I also have this code related to the trunk I guess?

Built-in Systems Interface(Bsi) 0035
No Communication Wit The Trailer
Relay Unit ECU Or The Bodywork
Conversion Unit ECU
Not Characterised

Thank everyone who can help.

At a guess I would say that it's where a manufacturer's towbar ECU and wiring is connected to.

The left hand side of the car is where I installed the towbar ECU in my C5 X7.

Hmmm. The "rare-as-hens'-teeth" Moduboard? Lucky Duck!

I'm not sure what that is but the connector on the end looks like the connector for the rear lamp assembly. Has it been unplugged from the lamp assembly? It's not original fit. But it might be one of the genuine aftermarket kits that Citroen did. It just looks like it piggy-backs into the rear lamp assembly electrical connector. In that case my guess would be that it's part of the missing trailer module that the BSI is whinging about.

Here is the layout for the parking sensors. Use it in conjunction with the link provided by MICK.
The module sits under the driver seat.

Reversing sensors, moduboard, trailer module? This is a fully sick, pimped out C3 dude!! :rofl2: Actually I'm jealous! Please don't tell me it has an alarm and 3D floor mats! That would be way too much.
