Citroen Zx -96 engine swap

Greetings from Finland!

I recently bought a -96 zx 1.4i 2door manual and was thinking about swapping the car with the 1.8i 16v XU engine, i now have the KFX engine i think.
Is the swap a big hassle, or could it be done with relative ease? Does anyone here have experience on the subject? My biggest question is, that do you need the transmission from the 1.8 or is it the same in 1.4i
