Hello and welcome,
There is a For Sale and Wanted area, link below, where you should post your need to get the best chance of a response. :)

Hi and welcome to the forum

Maestro as in Austin/Morris/MG?

I once had an MG Maestro with the earlier R series engine in it. It was quite nippy and economical. Interestingly it was originally a LHD vehicle and the previous owner converted to RHD. He tried to pull a fast one when registering it in the UK by claiming it was a year younger than it really was so they punished him by giving it a Q registration plate! It didn't bother me because at the time I was on the company blanket car insurance scheme. I still have some parts in my loft left over from the conversion of LHD to RHD.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Hi I've just bought 2026 Citroën C4 Max petrol 130bhp in Eclipse Blue having previously bought 2023 Dacia Stepway Extreme cvt in Moonstone Grey, traded it for Citroën.Dacia was a decent car but find the Citroën better built and quieter and more comfortable, I have just about figured out the Media screen except I can't seem to get my USB music to play.
There are two ports under the Media screen and only one will take the USB but although it played in the Dscia I'm stumped as to how to get it to work.
So if anyone can help me to achieve getting my USB music to play it would be appreciated.
Kind regards Ian

Only a guess but possibly the USB is only for charging and you need to use the other port. Could be something in the handbook about it.

A photograph of the two ports would probably help.

I had a C reg maestro 1.6L back in the day. I bought it at 2 years old, traded in a rover sd1 for it. After V8 running costs the maestro was cheap as chips to run, and not as uncomfortable as you would think. However it was a rust bucket, the door bottoms were holed at 4 years old! They got repaired and it was trade-in shortly afterwards. I never learned as what did I buy next? A brand new montego 1.6. It also went rusty so then sold it for a rover 216 gti. That was my last forage with British Leyland although the rover was more Honda than Leyland.

Are you using the correct USB port?
Is the USB drive of the right size and formatted correctly, Fat32 and not exfat or ntfs, the latter being Microsoft default for larger drives?

Thanks for the replies I have now got it working.
One other thing I have noticed is the power steering seems to cut off when the stop start stops the engine,I'm reading it's probably down to battery being low ,as the car is new I haven't driven any distance with it to give the battery a good charge.

On our 308 when the S&S is in operation moving the steering wheel even a little bit causes the engine to restart.
