P0741 fault aisin am6 gearbox

Hello does anyone know or has anyone come across this fault on an aisin am6 gearbox. The code comes on after 5 minutes of driving with an s and a snowflake flashing by the gear selection screen

Hi mick thanks for your reply. I will try that the vans on around 130k now I changed the oil around 8k ago. And have no idea if it was done before that milage at a guess I'm thinking it hadn't been. I did the fill and flush method the only mistake I did make was not letting the gearbox reach the required temperature before draining the fluid each time. I didn't realize you could change the filter in the gearbox?

You may not be able to change the filter without removing the box, so if you don't have an obvious external one then it will be inside the box and generally left alone until the box comes out for whatever reason.

Hi mick I changed the oil doing the correct procedure. But unfortunately to no avail. Would there be anything else to check or is it likely to be the torque converter? Checked all solenoids with diagbox they all make a clicking noise during testing

Did you check the oil level after the change/replacement at the right temperature?
And when you change the oil, you have to reset the oil counter with the diagbox.
Because this fault appears after 5 minutes, it's possible, the level is not right.

I have set the level in the box now following the correct procedure it was low nearly 1 litre of fluid. Took the car up the road and same issue. Does anyone have any other ideas? Could it be the tcc solenoid? How is this tested with diagbox?

I would say the fault appears no more than 3 minutes after driving
