"Warnng Lights" - 2013 DS3 1.6eHDi

Hi,

I'll keep it simple.

A couple of occasions in the past few weeks where I am driving along and all well is good and then I get the dreaded "bing" and I have three lights on at once - service, engine light and also the ESP light. When I stop and turn the car off and then start again only the engine light stays on. I only have a small OBD plug in gadget but it tells me nothing so I guess a trip to a friendly mechanic with a Tech 3 or similar might be the option?

I wonder if it's just spurious with a car this age or maybe a known fault with something that can be swapped out easily.

Thoughts on causes or if anyone has had the same issues?

As the engine light remains on it should have a fault code stored which will point you in the right direction of the cause, possibly the ABS system. Once the code is reset it may be fine having been a spurious issue but it is likely that there will be a dirty contact somewhere to be found.

I had an ABS problem on my old Peugeot Partner and it was the sensors and they were replaced but the fault came back three weeks later
