submitted form was invalid

We have had 3 users complain that they cannot login to the forum, getting an error 'submitted form was invalid'.
All have been using Chrome browser on PC or phone.
I will investigate it later in the week, but for now you should be able to login with any other browser.

I can confirm that I have had no problems with Brave, Opera or Duckduckgo on any device.

Been getting this over the last week or so with Edge with PC but no issues when using safari on phone.
Seems to be working fine today though.

Tried again, closed everything, ran BleachBit, rebooted and no different.

So I have now got reports of the problem with Edge and Firefox, but no pattern as to what is triggering it.

I am traveling at the moment, so won't do anything untill the end of the week.

Just to update i've had no further issues with this since i last posted on the 18th. Seems to log in fine at the moment.

Yes, but only in Firefox.
Brave, Chromium and 'Web' all OK.

I had this happen using Edge. I thought it was an issue with my PC (I had other software issues over time), so I have re-built it (as well as made some hardware changes). However, on one occasion (I had reinstalled Windows 10) I allowed Edge to copy over settings, preferences, etc., and then, when I tried to log into the Forum, I got the same error message. I re-installed Windows 10 again, did not allow Edge to bring the preferences down again, and now I can sign in.

Still not working on Chrome an Android 16, I will check and see if earlier versions are affected.

Tried on both my sons' phones Android 14 and 16 and I can log in on both, but couldn't on mine. However they both accessed it via Google search rather than direct into a tab into Chrome. Just tried that on mine and I was also able to log in...

And now if I log out and open a tab in Chrome I can log in again. No idea what is going on there....

Actually I can't - log out and close the tab then open a new one and I get invalid form. But can log in via the search bar.
