Oil pressure light flashes on an ep6c engine

Unread post by Tudy »

Good day everon lately I have been getting oil pressure light on my dashboard I ran a diagnosis and I was hit multiple codes which one f them was oil pump solenoid valve which I tested the resistance with a multimeter and it was reading 20-30ohms which was very high I swapped it with a new one which it resistance was around 12ohms, then I tried to change the oil pressure sensor which I bought a new one I replaced the connector and the oil sensor but then it started giving me multiple fault codes , I'm confused to I might not have connected the right wire to the right allocated pin number I'm just frustrated about it
I'll share the codes that appeared

Also tell us when (what conditions) the warning light flashes, and has that behaviour changed with the work that you have done?

Good day sorry I have been off for a while now so the fault codes are
P15A0 lubrication system
Intermittent
P15A3 oil pressure regulation solenoid valve control
Permanent
So I changed the solenoid valve which clears the code. but when I changed the oil pressure switch with a new one the light keeps on coming on, but when I install the faulty one which i removed I found oil in the pins it doesn’t show the light. I cleaned it with a contact cleaner so few days ago i wanted to change the oil pressure switch and the connector with a new one cause obviously the one that’s leaking oil has failed which it has 3 pins but I don’t know if pin1 is the 5v supply pin 2 is ground or the signal out put

My VIN is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
