Diagnostic tools

Unread post by matt_v »

Helloo,

I have a Delphi DS150E diagnostic tool and a cheap ELM327 interface. They work perfectly fine on many vehicles, but for some reason they don’t work on older PSA cars (pre-2000 / around 1999 and older).
Has anyone had a similar problem or maybe found a solution? Perhaps some kind of adapter is needed?
Currently, I don’t have access to Lexia/PP2000.
Many thanks in advance! 😀

I have moved this post to the Diagnostics section where you are more likely to get some response. :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

The pre-2000 (approximately) PSA vehicles were not compliant with EOBD standards, although some used the standard 16 pin physical socket.

There is not much that can be done, other than getting a clone of the PSA Lexia/PP interface.
