407SW 1.8T + 6AT in China
This guy took 4 months and transplanted the 1.8T (China Only EP engine) with the Aisin 6 Speed auto successfully into his 407SW.

Looks a good job too!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Can I have one, too, please?
I think the 407SW is a great-looking car. But it was not looked upon nicely by the motoring press in this country. Come to think of it, none of the 407 range was looked upon nicely here. Wait, Peugeot isn't looked upon nicely by the motoring press or the general public here.
The 504, and maybe the 505, were the last universally liked Peugeots in Australia. But even then, I had one elderly lady tell me a couple of years ago that she and her (late) husband had a Peugeot once, and it was terrible on dirt roads. She drives a Mercedes now, so I don't know if she has good sense about what makes for a good car on dirt roads.
