Re: C5 X7 Wiring Diagram
Hi guys, does anyone have access to the wiring diagrams for the engine wiring harness? I have several errors in the MSG and BSI and the car won't start. e.g.05FF, P0103,P0336,P0342,P0727
It's a C5 2.0HDI
from 2009

We require a VIN for diagrams. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

Re: C5 X7 Wiring Diagram
You have 2 parts that will cause issues: Your flowmeter looks to be faulty - so I would get that cleaned or replaced as this will affect other aspects of engine management, as the engine ECU will use default values in the absence of any actual data from the flowmeter.
The other 2 codes relate to the engine speed sensor, so I would get that replaced first, see what faults remain and then deal with the Airflow Meter (MAF).
This may be a faulty Crankshaft Speed Sensor - again this will cause issues if faulty.

Re: C5 X7 Wiring Diagram
Hello all, I have a Citroen C5 2008 2.0 HDi 100KW Vin VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. I would need wire diagrams for my engine, from the BSM to the engine.
I don't know if I understood my service guys it is a problem that there is no power to the steering motor block...not sure about the translation.
I have a problem for a long time, and the car is in the service for two months now
it all started with a problem in cold weather that the car would not start. I had to crank the engine for a long period of time to get it started. It started only in cold weather below 0 and around 0 temperature.
Suddenly one day just would not start but it was not cold and it went in safe mode. When i turn the key in the ignition the tachometer goes up, the lights on the instrument panel come on, after that the rev counter goes down and the lights go out. The car won't start it can't crank
it is not the alternator; it is not the brake switch. I had a noise on the BSM, and I bought a new one, but the cracking did not stop, and the problem is the same. I want to help the service guys and try to find the wire diagrams so that they can try to find the problem as it is not in an official Citroen service. Is it possible to get some info?
Thanks in advance

Before spending any money check the battery voltage, if fully charged it should be about 12.7 volts but if below about 12.5 volts it needs charging.

Re: C5 X7 Wiring Diagram
Is this a 2008 car? Automatic or manual transmission? Hydraulic or steel suspension? ESP?
Temperature-dependent faults like this are often caused by faulty soldered joints on a printed wiring board such as a fusebox, ECU or instrument panel.
I will see if I can find some suitable diagrams. The trick to troubleshooting is to find the simplest circuit that is affected by the fault, preferably a circuit that is not controlled by an ECU.
Can you list all the items that stop working, so that I can identify the most useful diagrams.

Good morning, I changed the battery. The old one was in good condition, but I tried also that after cranking for a long period...PaulC5 wrote: 06 May 2026, 17:03 Before spending any money check the battery voltage, if fully charged it should be about 12.7 volts but if below about 12.5 volts it needs charging.

It is a 2008 car, 2.0 100 KW engine, automatic with hydraulic suspension. It has ESP
It is hard for me to describe what is not working but I will try. I will also add two videos. I went in the north part of my country where is cold, in the mountains this winter, where I had a hard time to start the car. I took a few hours to start it. I changed the battery, since I cranked the car a lot and I bought a start spray to help me start the engine. After I started the engine, I went home, I live in the south where is warmer. The car worked well, I used it a whole day and I remember that I parked it on a Sunday evening and after that the car is in a safe mode. I turn the key and the light go on and then just all goes off. When I leave the key in the ignition, I hear a sound in the BSM, it is like it have a problem to connect to something ( click, click, click ... ) the fan from time to time starts and then goes off. I tried to disconnect it, but it did not change anything.
Is it possible to upload videos? I have two recordings that I took and can show the situation on the car

Not directly. Post your video on YouTube and then post a link to that video here. Make sure the video is set to be visible to everyone on YouTube.Vule wrote: 07 May 2026, 08:24Is it possible to upload videos? I have two recordings that I took and can show the situation on the car
