C5x gearbox warning fault

Hi my citroen on occasions warns of gearbox fault when cold weather is about,when the gear box has warmed up it goes out, still changes gear fine and no problems, the warning light (spanner) has started to stay on longer than usual yet car drivers fine any advice. My vehicle is a c5x auto petrol.

Sorry to say, diagnostics at the dealer is required, hopefully for you the car is still under warranty, gearbox fault could mean ££££'s/€€€€'s
