Peugeot 3008 P84 - air blower motor

Unread post by trollkarlen »

Does anyone have a good guide on how to remove/inspect the air blower motor on a Peugeot 3008 P84 2020 ?
Like its location :)

The id of the document describing ho to remove/refit it is C5HG020NP0.

I have an issue with it not always blowing air, sometimes when you drive the car it works and some times it does not.
Read in the documentation that it can be the connectors to the motor(High power) and/or the controller connectors that can be the fault but i need to find it and the best way to access it.

Any help or input is valuable.

Can you confirm the full details of the car, year, bodystyle, engine, gearbox, aircon type ? :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Its a 2019 :)

Is this enough ?
Peugeot 3008 II Hybrid4, 2019, P84E, GT

I think i found the air blower motor, its located in the footwell of the passenger to the far right.
When its working its giving of a sort of clicking sound thats synced with the rotation speed.

Possibly there is something in the blower such as a leaf that is preventing it starting sometimes.

Any input on the original part ?

Here is some info on how to remove the glove comparment:

I removed the air blower motor from the car, and they where pretty nice with this because you could disassemble the motor to do visual inspection.
The motor blade and inside was really dirty so i did a deep clean and cleanup the strator and checked the coals.
They where all ok

No noticeable play from the slide bearings either.

So i put some grease on both of the bearings and put it back together again and it seamed to work better and run smother after wards.
I also clean the connector in both ends from the car to the motor.

But i think it will need to be changed in the 1-2 years but it holds and works for now.
