HDI 2.0 Collapsing Turbo boost pipe

Unread post by Frenchfish63 »

Hi,I have a RCZ 2.0 HDI fault codes indicating blocked EGR and or DPF.
When squirting egr cleaner in intake, noticed left hand boost pipe collapsing and twisting.
Question is if EGR or DPF blocked, would it cause that to happen,or more likely the collapsing hose under boost pressure causing the problems.
P.s any tips on reasonably priced hose manufacturers.
Thanks.

If the pipe collapses as you increase the turbo revs then it does suggest that the feed into the pipe is blocked, so assuming it is fed via the EGR then a good clean out may help. :)
