Did you read the oil pressure with OBD2 reader, which must be around 3 bars ?
The error is strange because it happens when the engine is not running and then there is no oil pressure.
That's why you should go back to the oil pressure sensor. According to the experiences of others, the problem is corrosion at the connection of the sensor with the mass. Below the sensor is a plate that gives it mass. You should check that connection.

Thanks Mihael
Thats my next place to look - I am servicing the car in a couple of weeks so going to have a good look at it and then I may run a wire from the sensor to a seperate ground to see if that makes a difference.
I do have a video of the fault but can't seam to post mp4's on here

You need to post your video on a site such as YouTube and then post a link to that video here.

Re: Renault Kadjar - 2 auto electricians and no help
Apologies Andy if this is a bit obvious and of little help! A simple brake pedal switch plays an important part in the successful start up of both my EV's, and if the pedal is not pressed which activates that switch as part of the start up, the car will not move an inch, drive and reverse cannot be selected.
Is it not the "normal" start up procedure for the Renault Kadjar that the brake pedal is required to be pressed for the start up to progress to a successful conclusion (that would seem to be confirmed by your video). If the start up does not proceed to s successful conclusion it may be expected that with no oil pressure, that the oil pressure sensor throws up the fault correctly.
Not sure how this would affect the "stop-start" triggered restart...presumably this would also require the brake pedal to be pressed, and if not the restart would fail...consequence no oil pressure, fault thrown up.
Neil

Re: Renault Kadjar - 2 auto electricians and no help
Hi Neil,
I thought along those lines intially that there may be an issue with the brake pedal, but the pedal has to be depressed in traffic for the stop/start to kick in and only restarts the vehicle when the pedal is released. Its a really bizarre issue - almost as if the sensor/ecu is not picking up that the vehicle is not running (but the ECU thinks it is) so notices a drop in oil pressure.
Will double check the grounds when I do an oil change in a couple of weeks
