System/map updates
Hi all. According to myds app, my recently acquired 2021 ds7 crossback needs the system and maps updated to 44.06.44.22_NAC-r0 and 16.0.0-r0 respectively. Are these the latest updates for a 2021 ds7? If you have a similar model, have you done these updates ok? Thanks.

I'll move this into the Telematics section where it'll stand a better chance of being answered.

Re: System/map updates
All the versions for your infotainment system (NAC_EUR_WAVE4) are available at https://sites.google.com/view/nac-rcc/system/nac/wave-4 (scroll down for the system/firmware updates).
The official software (Citroën/DS/Opel/Peugeot/Vauxhall Update) only offers the most recent version that is actually in the "PUB" status. Both the 44.07.05.22_NAC-r0 and 44.07.33.32_NAC-r0 were in that status until recently (6 April), are still available and used in many vehicles - they are generally safe to install. On the other hand, there are many more versions that never had that status (double-click the "Version" in the top left corner of the firmware versions table if you want to see them), but I don't provide any links to them. They often temporarily withdraw latest versions to update the embedded signing certificate (not related to the license you need to install any firmware), but I'm not sure if this is that case. If you don't experience any problem with the installed version, just avoid updating the firmware - you won't see any new features anyway.
Updating the maps/cartography is safe - contrary to firmware updates, you can downgrade the maps/cartography. You can safely install the 17.0.0-r0 version, which is pretty old by now (Sep 2024).

Re: System/map updates
Thanks Rui, my ds7 is a 1.6 puretech, I don't imagine updating the system will do much so probably going to leave it. The maps currently are dated 2020, I'm not sure how recent the 16.0.0-r0 update is, it doesn't give me any other version I can see!. I have download that one it to my pc, just need a 32+ gb memory stick now to progress. Or is there a more recent version I can find? So long as it works with my 2021 system.

Re: System/map updates
I've found 16.0.0-r0 is a Nov 2025 update so that's good. I'll give it a try.

Re: System/map updates
The European map 16.0.0-r0 for NAC_EUR_WAVE4 is from 19 Feb 2024 and version 17.0.0-r0 is from 05 Sep 2024 (see the tooltip of each version).

Re: System/map updates
Thankyou Rui, the 16.0.0-r0 is better than what I have. I'll be happy with that. Just need a 32gb usb now.
