Peugeot partner 1.6 hdi 2011 is dead

Unread post by Snurbo76 »

Hello! I need some help to go further with my car.
Little history for last months it started with check engine lamp lightens up sometime and somtimes engine stopped but it always started direct after somtimes like normal and somtime limp home.
Always had errorcode p0087 and p0093.
So I changed fuelfilter and fuel pressure sensor then the car run 1200 km without any issue. But for a couple of days ago i was running on a small little jumpy road then the enginelamp lights up and the car died and its still dead with a new errorcode that i cant erase. P0192
And there I am for the moment..... another strange thing is then i check fuel pressure with obd scanner it says that fuelpressure is about 30000 kpa with dead engine. Maybe it could be the new fuel pressure sensor or a cable somewhere I dont know how I should go on with this problem

Wiring fault seems likely. Is the pressure sensor 3 wire? One should be 5v, one ground, and the other the signal wire.

Hello yes it is a three pin sensor but it is strange because if i read fuelpress and moving the cables it is totalt steady. Do you know where the other ends of these cable are? Think somewhere in ecu?

I imagine it runs direct to the Engine ECU, but you need a wiring diagram to confirm, and give the pin outs. Does the reading / fault code change if you un plug the sensor?

I had similar problem with two of my peugeot experts.

changing the fuse box inside engine bay fixes the problem.
thats what worked for me twice.
and they are cheap around £50 used.

now the best trick is to buy the fuse box that looks exactly the same( too many variants )
at the bottom it will say serial number and make code. dont worry about the serial number/part number
look at the code
mine said R05 so best to get the one that would say R05 but R06. R07 will also work. but R04 will not work properly.

but before you do that, try something
buy easy start spray. crank the engine and spray from inlet to see will the engine carry on turning with easystart spray. if you hear bad sounds while you are running the car on easystart then you know your engine is gone. if you can make the engine run on easystart then goood.

this is to make sure that the engine is fine.
** Do not spray a lot into inlet. small spray , stop, small spray stop. ( one second press, one second no)

Hi. This evening i loose the contact on the sensor
But it dont tell me so much because
It changed errorcode from p0192
To p0193. But it still show 33000 kpa in fuel
Pressure..... tomorrow i should put
In my old sensor and read it again
and see what it shows.
