Hello!
I have a 1997 Citroën Berlingo Multispace 1.9D(https://www.automobile-catalog.com/car/ ... 1_9_d.html), and I’m asking about the roof.
I’ve been trying to find out whether anyone has repaired it or knows how to do it. I’ve heard that spare parts are no longer available, and I’ve been told that if it’s stuck closed, it’s better not to touch it. But I really want to get it working again so I can open the roof and enjoy the summer. Does anyone have any advice or experience with this?
Thanks.

I have no experience of the Berlingo but I used to have a friend with a full length roof on his VW Camper. When it failed he tried many ways of getting it working again but in the end he took it to a trimmers who removed the old roof entirely and manufactured him a replacement glazed 'targa' roof which he could remove on sunny days but trust to be waterproof during the rain. It worked for him and may be a suggestion for you if you find your mechanism corroded as he did!

Unfortunately he passed away 15 years ago but this picture may give you an idea. If you imagine the top white part of the canopy as a single piece with two windows in it but then fitted on the camper as that canopy would be when closed it gives you an idea.
