Steering rack Citroen C4 Grand picasso

Hello, I need to replace my steering rack for my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso MK2 2015 1.6 Blue HDi 100 hp. I believe my current one has this part number: 1635675480 but I found that it might be possible to replace with 1651349180 which from the newer model. My picasso is pre-fl. Are these interchangeable? Will I have any issues fitting the newer rack or should I just stick with the same one as my car has?

There were 2 topics on here for I think DS3s where they replaced racks with ones from different years and found they could not be programmed to their cars so were giving faults and possibly not able to pass the MOT. If you can it may be best to stick to the original part from the same model and same year. If you are going to get a garage to replace the rack get them to supply the part so they provide a parts and labour warranty on the job. If doing it yourself it will still need to go to a garage for the tracking to be set and if it needs programming it might need a Citroen dealer.
