Workshop Management: How Do You Manage Your Various Schedules?

Hi everyone,

As a mechanic, my schedule is often a real headache. Between workshop bookings for Citroëns and Peugeots, parts orders, and my own personal appointments, I’m starting to lose track of everything. I use several calendars (Google for personal stuff and Outlook for work), and I’ve already had some pretty annoying scheduling conflicts this month... Do any of you, especially those who are self-employed, use a simple solution that’s easy to use for a calendar synchronisation to automatically merge your calendars? I’d like my workshop slots to appear on my personal calendar (and vice versa) so I can block off my availability, but without all the customer or service details being visible everywhere for confidentiality reasons.

Sorry, but retired also, but...................
Not sure how Google Calender works, My Online calender was with GMX, you can add various individual Calendars to you main calendar, it will sync with Andriod & Thunderbird on a PC. Have a look at the screen shot and you will see what I mean.

But, have you seen the Booking Pages on the Google calendar? (https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/ ... 3/31?pli=1)

However, I moved mine and my wifes to my home NAS (Personal Cloud), I can access it ( and any saved document) from anywhere as I found appointments older than 2 years where going missing!
