So the rear part of my Dangel 4x4 system seems to be broken.
I was getting a lot of metallic grinding noise and resistance while driving.
I have now disconnected the rear driveshaft, viscous coupling, and the front prop shaft. The noise is gone and the van is somewhat drivable again. However, the engine revs higher than before and the clutch response feels worse.
Are there other components I should remove or disconnect to avoid further damage, or is running it permanently as FWD a bad idea?
