Citroen C5 I V6
Ahoj, mám problém s elektronikou. Blikající kontrolky na palubní desce, po nastartování motoru zhasnou úplně, fungují pouze ručičky jako palivoměr, teploměr nebo otackomer.Dále nejde ovládat rychlost vnitřního ventilátoru, nejde vypnout klimatizace a nefunguje multimediální display. Mám velký barevný s navigací VDO. Prosím má někdo nějaké zkušenosti nebo poznatky ? Zatím jsem kontroloval pouze pojistky. Deluji všem.

Welcome along. Please post in English, you can use use Google Translate if necessary [Prosím, pište v angličtině, v případě potřeby můžete použít Google Translate.]
English version:
Hi, I have a problem with electronics. Flashing lights on the dashboard, after starting the engine they go out completely, only the hands work like the fuel gauge, thermometer or tachometer. Furthermore, the speed of the interior fan cannot be controlled, the air conditioning cannot be turned off and the multimedia display does not work. I have a large color with VDO navigation. Please, does anyone have any experience or knowledge? So far I have only checked the fuses. I apologize to everyone.

Re: Citroen C5 I V6
I would suggest a BSI Reset as the first thing to try.
Thereafter, check for water ingress into the BSI and try scanning it for any logged fault codes.
My Mk1 C5 V6 also has the interior fan/hvac controls not working (fan stuck on full blast etc.) and that's thwarted all diagnostic attempts so far (it's not the wiring, the fan thyristor pack or the hvac control panel).

Reset BSI, that means make a virgin and read the keys and imo? what did you do with the stuck fan?
Is the multifunction display also controlled via BSI? The radio control under the steering wheel is not functional either.

No. It's a specific way of disconnecting and reconnecting a battery so that the various ECUs can close down in an orderly manner.

Okay, thank you.
I took out the BSI, I'll check if there was water in it. I can't even read the OE number, no paper label, nothing on the box.

Re: Citroen C5 I V6
To be fair my bad with the typo - I actually meant the BSM rather than the BSI (the BSI is less likely to suffer water ingress than the BSM) but might as well check the BSI still anyway, since you have it out.
I haven't got to the bottom of the fan problem on mine yet - the car is off the road, so it's low priority and I just pick at it when I get a chance. I'm at a dead end now until I get the correct wiring schematic for the full circuit. Your additional problems with the lights on the dash not functioning correctly point to a wider problem, IMO - hence why I suggested the BSI/BSM and fault code reading as a starter. Could also be an earth problem, so worth very closely inspecting all of those - though this is rather uninformed suggestions (rather than targeted fault finding) based on there being nothing giving firm direction so far, unfortunately.
