Hi ... I have a 2006 Peugeot 407 hdi. I recently removed the air filter housing to replace the filter
and to be able to check the hoses at the back of the engine bay (trying to check for vacuum leaks) and I noticed that the housing has a small outlet/inlet pipe underneath it with a lip that looks like a hose is meant to be attached to it. I have looked online and have seen photos of a small hose attached to that outlet/inlet with the end plugged off. Any ideas if it need to be plugged or, pulled into something or left open as a breather?
