Nac Wave 2 Visiopark 2 retrofit mirrored camera problem&question regarding the automatic toggling of the front camera

Hi all!

I’ve had the visiopark 2 system retrofitted with a nac wave 2 for quite a while now. The module is bought from a Peugeot Rifted iirc and the cameras are both pn 9809301080, wiring is done correctly.

Only problem is that the rear camera is mirrored; the guide lines are correctly moving but the image is flipped horizontally, tried a few telecoding measures but nothing changed.

Has anyone encountered this problem? I’d be very glad for any help/opinions.

Also, is there any way to have the front camera come on automatically when the front sensors detect an obstacle? Right now it just shows the classic sensors proximity on the screen, but no camera; it works only when I trigger the reverse gear for the rear camera and then switches to the front camera for 10~ seconds when the reverse gear is disengaged.

You could just use your eyes and mirrors as I have for 55 years without hitting anything!!

As I always have, until the last C5 was reassigned as bean tins.
The subsequent Civic and two Mazdas have absolutely hopeless rear vision and I generally have to rely on the paring sensors. Son reversed into a lamp post a couple of weeks ago. Just as well I don't care about dings and scratches but in a new car a reversing camera would be appreciated.
