flooding!

Post by ca700290 »

My drivers floor is absolutely soaking. My passengers side is dry. I have a 1998 306 TD. I have a feeling it has something to do with the radiator, as I have had to top-up the radiator after it happened. Has anyone go any specific ideas. Cheers Dan

This is a bit of a wild guess, but seeing as PSA seem to use the same components in all their cars, I would guess that the rubber sealing rings where the pipes feeding the heater matrix attach to the matrix have dried out and are letting cooling water run down the inside of the bulkhead. It's very common on Cit's. And is easily fixed.
