I thought he was preparing for an icy cold snap
Studded (singular) tyre(s)
Sorry for your misfortune Mick! Has it been deemed central enough for a puncture repair to be effected? (Middle two thirds? I think? = Looks borderline)

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Yes it was repaired and will be refitted when I get home from the Legacy MOT which I'm in the queue for now. Got here at 7.30 for an eight o'clock start and there were three here already. There are two channels so I'm second in line on my side!
After that a sad day for me as I will be preparing and then photographing the MX3 for the auction catalogue which it is entered into. The sale is a week today

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Worm Moon, apparently. I can almost see the monument from here, but didn't. Image swiped from the Beeb website.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
With the trend for bigger and bigger cars, the same appears to be happening with touring caravans
I saw this rig travelling towards the area of the caravan park reserved for touring 'vans and motorhomes..
Nice 'van, not so sure about the towing vehicle though...
This was actually a time-expired static 'van being taken away from it's prime spot on the seafront before being either scrapped or sold on.
The driver of the telehandler was extremely skilled - he was pushing the 'van with great accuracy... Very entertaining to watch
The photo was taken from the balcony of my rather posh caravan and my home for a delightful few days...

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Looking at the Minor MOT history, one has an advisory of covered in underseal. Seems a bit over the top unless it has a lot of rust hidden and is weak but then that should be the advisory. 11 years ago though so it is surviving.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Yep surviving in my garage. The underseal was hiding many horrors, although the car looked lovely on top, and took me a few years to sort out
I should have known better.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Nothing inherently special about a picture of a nice crop of rhubarb and a couple of tulips...
Except these are the very first exposures on the very first colour film I've ever processed - and very successfully too
Both these images are straight out of the tank and have had no post-processing whatsoever
Here it is drying after coming out of the tank...
I did have one tense moment when I accidentally spilt some blix (Bleach/Fixer) into the heated water bath but I got away with it
I then went on to develop my Blue Anchor holiday snaps whilst I had the kit all set up...
Most of my first film are of my granddaughters and I just love how traditional colour film renders colours, especially skin tones. I now totally 'get' why traditional colour film photography remains niche-popular and especially with the younger generation - it has something modern digital photography just cannot replicate - a bit like listening to music on vinyl or playing a vintage guitar through a valve amp.
The film was budget Kodak ColorPlus 200 processed in CineStill CS41 chemistry. For my next colour forays I'm going to use some higher quality film.
I now find colour processing is easy. Just have a very accurate thermometer, a good timer and keep the process temperature bang-on throughout and all is good. The real skill lies in black and white photography and that I'll continue to practice.
I do have a few rolls of 20+ years expired colour film given to me by Mick and I'll now try developing one of those in colour chemistry. It might be interesting...

Spot the difference......
I think the mouse population in the greenhouse have been taking lessons in escape and evasion from out local Amazon driver - they've managed to get to eat the sultana without tripping the trap or any other eveidence they've been there
