Dear All
My recently acquired Peugeot Partner Horizon 2007 wheelchair access truck, had been behaving itself recently, once all the myriad of post purchase gremlins were addressed.
I thought all was well until an unnerving amount of understeer forced me to the kerb and bent (not too badly) the OSF wheel. I put the spare on and went on my way, and inspected the damage the next day, in the daylight. The wheel rim is toast and i suspect would not balance well with a new tyre.
I then set about checking all the other tyres, only to find some age related cracking, not on the tyre walls but in the centre of the dips in the tread pattern. I had never seen it like this before so effectively i need a new set of tyres and new steel rim.
This inevitably sent me down the 'it would look better with alloys' rabbit hole!
I am hoping i could get some advice on what options are available (from other model and years). My car is a 2007 model, of which i have become quite fond, and is mainly used to cart around elderly family members.
I have had the tracking checked after the kerb damage and no issues. I wanted this sorting before putting on new wheels, so it didnt scrub.
I'd be grateful for any advice on what to start looking for and what tyre size is best?
many thanks in advance
Cheers mark

This is as good a starting point as any, but you need to scroll down a bit: :)

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
