Hello. Two weeks ago I had a problem with one injector (lean mixture in the cylinder). As it turned out, it was a problem with the piezo element closing to the injector housing. Since I had already done this and I have experience in this, I removed all the injectors myself and took them to the service for inspection and repair. I installed the injectors on the car, replacing the copper washers and tightening them to the required torque. I also decided to replace the fuel filter at the same time. I pumped the filter with a built-in pump. I put everything back together and started turning the starter, but the engine was not going to start at all, I turned it for a long time (with some breaks so as not to burn the starter) until the battery failed, the pressure in the fuel rail remained the same and was 4-6 bar. I thought that maybe air got in somewhere..
I connected an external hand pump with a transparent tube between the tank and the filter and pumped the fuel manually. 1 minute after that, I noticed that air bubbles started to rise up the tube - slowly but steadily. I plugged the filter outlet on the fuel pump and placed the return tube in a bottle with fuel. These bubbles still appeared after pumping. I replaced the water sensor along with the rubber rings, as this is a common problem on this car model - to no avail. I installed the old filter with the old gasket - to no avail. I also want to replace the entire filter housing. But for some reason I have doubts that this is not the problem and I think that some air can be created in the tube to the tank??? I also tried to pump the area between the fuel pump and the filter with a hand pump, in one direction and in the other - it does not work, as I understand that the fuel pump is pumped only when it is running. I tried to connect a transparent tube between the fuel pump and the filter to see the movement of fuel when the starter is turned - it is there. I unscrewed the nuts from the injectors and turned the starter - no fuel comes out at all. I thought that maybe I turned the starter too little and today I turned it again several times for a total of about 1-2 minutes, but nothing changes.
I'm asking for help because I don't know which way to go and what to do. Could it be that you need to turn the starter for a very long time to get the air out? And will the pressure in the rail increase in the process? Do you need the air to come out completely and then it will increase? What else can I check? I have a lexia

Perferations in the fuel line from the tank are not unknown. Disconnect the tank line from the pump and fit a pipe into a temporary fuel supply, can of fuel is what I use, prime the system from that supply and see if you are air free. If so try starting and if it works then you will need to examine the fuel line back to the tank for leaks.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

The air bubbles in the tube comes out not from the tank side but from the filter side
