If you go to your Citroen dealer they can give you the one page latest service schedule which will have the latest oil spec on it. Oil specs do change based on experience/problems so it is important to get the latest one.

I don't recognise the engine ID of EHT. Where did you get this from? Posting your VIN here might help. Only staff will be able to see it. It's safe and will be obscured for general viewing.

Having said that, and following the link you posted (very interesting), I would confidently use oil of 5W/30 to FPW9.55535/03 specification.

The oil spec for our 1.5 hdi 308 changed from 0w/30 to 5w/30 a couple of years ago to the spec in the bulletin. Since then it rattles a bit on start up, a bit like worn tappets. It also had a recall to check it in case the cam shaft chain needed replacing.

In the bulletin against FD engines it has the following codes AHX / AHV / AHR / AHS / AHF. If yours is one of these then some of these letters will be in the vin before the numbers.

My vin is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Just bought 20L. OUCH
5w30 STL
Also I believe you need to meet the FPW9.55535/03 specification.

Only admin can read your vin, if you want the rest of us to see the engine letters then just put these in a post and miss off the V F 7 or put spaces between the V and F and 7 as I had to do here. No need to put the numbers down after the letters.

I can confirm that the ID is indeed EHT. It must be very new .

This looks like old information that has now been superseded by the new recommendation. As I said

A search on Citroen EHT engine suggests it has been in use since 2021, so relatively new for many of us. It is a 2 litre blue hdi 145 hp, DW10FE or DW10FD.

Yes thanks.
It’s not new though. It’s a 22 plate?
I have infact bought 20L of the psa spec.
I think I had a good deal at £87 for 4 x5L

I don’t think I can do any more research on it as my mind has been fried. Unless anyone can enter my engine number into any software that you have??

Still interested in the engine number not listed though????

My engine code is DW10FDDU340 (EHT)
