I've posted elsewhere about rough running on my wife's 207cc, 1.6l petrol, 2008.
I am now getting a consistent Exhaust Camshaft Dephaser too far advanced. I've changed all the sensors, check static timing and I am now changing out the Dephaser sprockets. Feeling my way with this, not a job I've done before. Got the Ex. Dephaser off and it seemed to release when it came off the camshaft (a good sign I think). This might be a daft question but there are no rotational timing marks for this Sprocket as the Camshaft and Crankshaft are locked in position and the Dephaser action is internal to the Sprocket? The only marks on the sprocket relate to the internal spring being at the home position on the Sprocket. So it is just a matter of sliding the Sprocket onto the shaft and engaging the chain correctly?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Regards,
Colin.

I think you'll find this a very useful video. The sprocket replacement starts at around 10 mins but you may benefit from watching the whole video.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
