Hello world, may I have a couple of minutes of your attention...
I bought an old relic: 407 2.0HDI 290000km with some problems registered 6months for 500€
The car had a dead turbine, but after I fixed some vaccum leaks it woke up, and started dying at higher RPM, so, after I cleaned the sensors on the intake side, and confirmed it got new turbo solonoid, injectors, and intake manifold, with previous owner, I had it with the EGR, deleted EGR with a plate and some sealant, it woke up full power, changed oil and filters, AC woke up after a gas top up, still working, I then found out I had a problem with left rear bearing, due to a tire defect previous owner didn't notice, swapped it, swapped tires, top engine mounts, and the car ran fine whole summer, fall, and I did 5000+km (the belt was done regular, I checked).
Recently it proceded to blow some very old turbo pipes, as the winter aproached, one by one, I replaced 2 so far, and epoxy/victor reinz sealed the plastic piece going under the car, it broke at what looks like a connection (my bad), and I was able to fix it so solid it cannot be broken again by hand. Currently the turbo runs fine (maybe a little too fine for breaking pipes) but turns off at sustained high acceleration, but interestingly enough, I can still go at top 210 km/h if I accelerate lightly...
... my abs/esp light is on from th beginning too, turned off for a minute when I swapped the bearing, abs seems to work ok, I suspect the sensor on the swapped bearing. Bought this Chinese Lexia3, am currently having some fun getting the software running... and will have to deal with the squeaky stabilizers, and stabilizer bar selens soon...
Apart from this, I really like this car, it leaks 0 oil, 0 coolant, runs very nice, max exuipment, and comfy leather, body not too shaby, nothing broken, everything inside works(for now) except seat heaters, reaches 210 on Autobahn, doesn't consume more than 6l when going 130km/h in 6th, so I would like to take care of it, at 300000km it's entering the second half of it's possible life, and it was in relatively good care so far, no heavy crashes, and no major complications...
The engine is a bit loud, and I will check some stuff when I do the belts (soon), when it gets a bit warmer.
Also, the airbag light is on from day one...
I am not afraid of french electronics, or any repair, I even welded bodies before...
I would appreciate any help with diagbox instalation, service manuals, and any tips on what to check for at the turbine side of things, why would it be dying at strong acceleration, it done this before when I had leaks in the pipes, so I suspect another one or the intercooler....

The installation of Diagbox varies depending on the hardware and version you are using. If you haven't got it yet I'd suggest a chat with Jim at Easydiagnostics will help you decide which path to take. Link below.
As for the turbo cutting out I'd agree that a leak somewhere in the intake hosing is the place to start.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Re: Resussetating a 2.0HDI 407
Update: got the chino Lexia 3 up and running, I got:
steering wheel position sensor permanent error, and steering wheel speed(probably related) on a couple of systems that require it, this explains the abs/esp,
Intermittent brake contact failure, but this is probably ok,
driver level 2 airbag activation high resistance, this explains the airbag light
Steering pump low voltage, maybe because the car had a bad battery, a while back... Probably ok now
There is some other misc stuff, like some boot wiring supply, cd changer offlin(probably related to boot wiring, a position bulb, left parking sensor, and some other little stuff that I will check codes for...
and When I took a spin, measured turbo pressure and setting, it follows normaly up to 2500, but the car was relatively cold, I will have to drive until it fails, but no time atm...
