Hi all,
Not really up on Lexia. Mine used to work but I seem to have adopted a very old genuine one from a neighbour.
I have v7.57 on laptop. I reckon the ECU on WarHorse is not functioning correctly. I was able to read using Bosch KTS590 and Uni-4 cable wired direct to pins 1 (power), 10 (L line), 33 (ground) and 38 (K-line) some years ago despite Lexia not reading. I've tried Lexia with Uni-4 clone cable and no joy. Perhaps Lexia is not doing something that it should internally? Any ideas anyone?
It lights up green when plugged into laptop but I wonder if connecting OBD power activates another part of the circuit inside (hence why you have to switch ignition off and back on).
I tried it on the 3008 but no read despite going through all the ECU's. Perhaps it needs v7.83 for a late 2013 3008? Again, any ideas?
Lexia v.7.57- No comms with Xantia or 3008

You might get some ideas from this site Roger:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

A bit strange, in other post i told you, that the VCI, that you use is not a good one!!,I told you, you missed the 7 optocouplers!!
So look at AliExpress where you can find Diagbox with full chips, like this one.

So, if you don't have the right hardware, how can you expect that it works 100%?

That might prove useful at some point Mick. I can see part of the name of the programme I couldn't think of earlier - PSA Interface Checker. Laptop recognises Lexia when connected but car will not scan. ELM327 and app on phone will scan though.mickthemaverick wrote: 25 Jan 2026, 14:08 You might get some ideas from this site Roger:![]()

I swapped out ECU earlier for another and ELM327 scanned that and found some faults so OBD is working but no faults are being found on my 'running' ECU. Also, the swap-out ECU would not communicate with the Lexia either even why directly wired to ECU connector pins thereby bypassing OBD socket.
it's a headscratcher and I hope someone turns out with a better idea than me.

It cannot be that as I have a genuine Lexia. Surely!Kees wrote: 25 Jan 2026, 15:29 A bit strange, in other post i told you, that the VCI, that you use is not a good one!!,I told you, you missed the 7 optocouplers!!

I see what you are saying but why would it stop working when nothing on the ECU has been updated and I am still on v7.57 which worked previously.
Why would having an up-to-date Lexia make a difference?
