Re: Miscellaneous Auctions and Sales
I have to agree on the mileage Gibbo, especially with the 'Irish history' comment. When I had my 2.2 HDi C5 my daughter accused me of unnecessarily polluting the atmosphere. I wasn't in the mood for an argument at the time so I placated her by promising my future cars would not be diesel! I keep my promises, even when I was probably foolish in making them!!

I once tried one, albeit, for 35mm film, and it was found to be very wantingmickthemaverick wrote: 03 Jan 2026, 12:43 I seem to remember someone looking for one of these?![]()

I ended up buying a high-quality dedicated 35mm negative scanner.

I would like the Hasselblad but would be unlikely ever to use it.

Some nice stuff there
Plus, I have enough photographic projects in the 'roundtoit' pile to last me some time

I should think a Viper V10 might fit in the back quite well!!Gibbo2286 wrote: 16 Jan 2026, 12:42Tall and thin Mick, looks like a small puff of wind would topple it.mickthemaverick wrote: 16 Jan 2026, 12:06 The perfect post retirement car:![]()

Re: Miscellaneous Auctions and Sales
This may generate some interest, it's almost perfect for me but I like my Legacy for everyday use and this is too big for my second car.

Re: Miscellaneous Auctions and Sales
Had a look through but nothing much caught my attention. Only the Wirgin Edixa mat reflex TTL, which was my first SLR, couldn't afford a Pentax Spotmatic at the time.
I had a moment wondering about a view camera. I had a Linhof Technica in the seventies. I would be hard pushed to find a use for it now, and even harder to find 4 x 5" sheet film for it.

I'd be hard pressed to find a use for it too Steve. Not really suited to fast moving sports photography!myglaren wrote: 05 Feb 2026, 10:23I would be hard pushed to find a use for it now, and even harder to find 4 x 5" sheet film for it.
Sheet film of all sizes remains very readily available though. Ilford will be happy to meet your needs
