Megane rear number plate

I need to change the number plates on my 98R Megane hatchback (due to sale of a personalised registration number). The front is held on by 2 screws but I can't tell what is holding the rear one on... is it some kind of adhesive? It is held very firm and I don't want to force it to see what's behind it! Thanks.

Hi Graham - It's probably held on with four or five sticky pads. It will come away if you pull, starting at one end and levering with one hand behind the plate.
