Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing an issue with my 2005 Citroën C2 Sensodrive. The car drives fine in forward gears, but when I select reverse using the gear lever, it doesn't engage. However, if I use the steering wheel paddles to select reverse, it works perfectly.
I’ve already replaced the clutch actuator and a second-hand gear selector, but the problem persists. I’m wondering if anyone else has faced this and can offer insights.

Since the gear itself works when activated from the steering wheel, I would suggest that your gear lever wiring may have a fault, check the connections under the gearstick and see if the problem is there?
