I’ve got a 2011 308 1.6Hdi, it only came with 1 key and the remote central locking doesn’t work. It all works fine with the key in the lock but not with the buttons. I tried a new battery and resyncing it but it still didn’t work so I figured the key was broke.
I’ve now got a replacement key, had it cut and programmed it with Diagbox, then done the remote syncing process. It works to start the car, but still doesn’t unlock remotely.
I’m guessing the receiver is broke, is it going to be a case of replace the comm unit in the steering wheel or is there a way of fixing it?

As you mentioned Diagbox I assume you have scanned the ECU for fault codes re the comms unit? 
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Do you know whether the key you bought uses AFK or FSK modulation?

Not familiar with the 308 but does it have a central locking button on the dash?
