Hello everyone,
I’d like to ask for some advice.
Since I replaced my BSI unit with a newer one (from 2016 berlingo), I noticed an interesting option in the BSI configuration: “continued braking after 2 seconds when starting off from a certain speed.” I’ve set this option to YES, but it doesn’t seem to work.
I have a Peugeot 308 T7 SW 2009, 1.6 HDi 110 Euro 4. I’m willing to replace the ABS block if that would make it work, but I don’t know which part number would be compatible.

Interesting question, our grey 308 is similar just a little later (2011, "facelift", euro 5 e-HDi)
I was going to say we'd not have this option as we have a manual handbrake - but I wonder if this "brake hold" function is actually delivered by the ABS pump?
I think if Marc was active on the forum he'd likely express extreme caution about "having a fiddle with Diagbox settings" as it's very possible to severely upset the car and there is no Undo button.
Sorry this isn't something I have looked into, so I am not much help.

My brother has a mechanical handbrake AND hill assist on his 508 which I'm pretty sure is provided by the ABS system. The block certainly made some very loud rude noises when we bled his brakes (properly using a diagnostic machine of course).
