Ecu ? Not to sure on this but does this type of gearbox have an ecu ?, also is it low on oil ? Id say its gearbox ecu that could be your prob
Husky. :? Thinking outside of the box is better than sitting in a dark one.

Hello. For a 2006 Peugeot 1007 with an automated manual transmission, such symptoms are almost always related not to the transmission itself, but to a lack of power, ground or CAN communication between the engine ECU, transmission control unit and BSI. If the diagnostics show ‘no connection to the engine’ and ‘unknown gear position’, the transmission control unit simply does not allow the engine to start.

Thanks for the second reply, you are correct the fault needs to have the wiring checked to see where the fault is
that is why I would appreciate a wiring diagram for the gearbox/ engine to be able to check powers earths and can
I have given vin to help
Thanks Joe
IF you could supply wiring diagram I am quite sure I could find fault and fix Thanks

I don't have a diagram for the 1007 but the CAN VAN Citroen C2 should be the same.
The power fuse BMF1 is in the gearbox wiring harness.

Thanks OZVTR the wiring diagram you sent me was spot on
NO power to the gearbox ecu, fuse was ok
The wiring had been rubbing on gearbox at the front I could see the blue corrosion on harness
opened it up, had to repair 2 wires
Now working fine( fixed before christmas) Thanks to you
Thanks Joe
