Having just replaced the clutch in my BX 19 (my idea of a fun job) I failed to follow Haynes’ advice about fitting a tube in the LH opening to support the diff sun gears while the RH shaft is out. That is I tried but didn’t succeed.
Now the RH shaft won’t go in far enough.
Anyone got any ideas on how to rectify this one, without removing the gearbox again?
