Hello everyone,
I’m Have on a Peugeot 508 SW II from 2020 (BlueHDi 163, VIN: VR3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]******76) that recently lost multiple functions at the same time — high beams, horn, washers, mirror indicators, interior dome light, and several HVAC functions stopped working.
A technician scanned the vehicle using SMOK and Xtool, and it looks like the BSI telecoding/configuration was corrupted (probably after a failed coding attempt with another tool).
Guidance on how to properly rebuild/restore the factory BSI configuration using SMOK or Xtool.
If anyone has experience with repairing BSI configuration on PSA EMP2 vehicles using SMOK (parameter reconstruction) or Xtool manual telecoding, your advice would be greatly appreciated.
This is my personal vehicle, and for some reason the official Peugeot service refuses to fix this issue.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

I am assuming you are asking how to use SMOK or Xtool because they are the tools your mechanic has. I personally would advise using Diagbox for any programming work necessary but I cannot give any advice on this actual issue.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Sorry to hear, authorized diagbox is pretty much the only viable option for this kind of restpre/repair/telecoding.Tomemkd wrote: 01 Dec 2025, 17:07 That recently lost multiple functions at the same time — high beams, horn, washers, mirror indicators, interior dome light, and several HVAC functions stopped working.
Have you been able to find a solution?
